8D/7N Rest & Refresh Christian Women’s Retreat at Orchid Lodge Samui

OVERVIEW: This Jesus-centered retreat is focused on providing restorative rest, peaceful relaxation, and total refreshment while allowing you to slow down, step away from the pressures of your daily life, and intentionally dwell with God in nature.

We will prioritize gentle, unhurried activities to soothe your mind, body, and soul. All activities are optional, so you can choose what you want to take away from this experience.

This program is best suited for women who may be feeling drained and weary, experiencing chronic stress and anxiety, going through a difficult or weighty season, lacking peace and clarity, and seeking Godly wisdom and community.

We will provide a space for women to be encouraged, supported, and uplifted in a Christian fellowship setting while also enjoying and experiencing the beautiful and majestic tropical island of Koh Samui in the safety and company of a small group of fellow travelers.

We welcome women of all ages and backgrounds at any stage of her faith & discipleship journey.

RETREAT DESCRIPTION:

The Retreats at Orchid Lodge in Koh Samui, Thailand, are specially designed, personally customized, all-inclusive experiences for women seeking a relaxing, uplifting, and restorative tropical getaway.

This is not your typical vacation or wellness retreat. Our programs intentionally encourage you to slow down, find rest, engage in Christian community, and draw closer to God by developing your spiritual formation and transformation.

Orchid Lodge Samui is a female Christian-owned and operated property, and the Retreats at Orchid Lodge offer a non-denominational Christian-based program open to women at any stage of her spiritual life.

You do not need to be a practicing Christian or have any previous Bible knowledge to participate.

We welcome any woman who has a desire to begin, to renew, or to strengthen a relationship with God, or simply a curiosity to explore the teachings of Jesus and the Bible in a safe and supportive setting where you are encouraged to ask questions.

Whether you’re brand new to Christianity, or you want a fresh start with the faith, or you want to go deeper in your existing relationship with the Lord, you are invited to find rest, fellowship, and a renewed inner strength in this faith-filled experience with other women who are seeking the same.

WHAT TO EXPECT: 

Every retreat we host will be tailored to the specific attendees participating on that program, so no two schedules or experiences will ever be the same.

Our schedules are fluid and flexible to allow for adjustments and time changes, based on the flow of the conversations, activities, and weather patterns for the day.

However, you can expect each day to consist of a combination of:

• Quiet time, daily devotions & personal reflection
• Prayer & worship
• Gentle movement (walks, stretching, light swims)
• Nourishing meals at or outside the lodge
• Bible study and guided discussions
• Outings, cultural experiences, and island-based activities

While we highly encourage you to participate in the group sessions and activities, you are free to decide how you would like to spend your time so that you can get what you need out of this experience.

We will have plenty of opportunities for rest, relaxation, and massages, so we will keep the schedule comfortable, unhurried, and relaxed.
